  • LinkedIn Sign-In data. If you sign in with LinkedIn, we receive the profile information you permit via LinkedIn OAuth, typically:
    • r_liteprofile: your basic profile (e.g., name, profile photo).
    • r_emailaddress: your email address.
    We store a minimal identifier to keep your account signed in and may store your email to contact you about your account.
  • Content & activity. Articles, comments, likes, and other interactions you create on GusPost.
  • Usage data. Log and device information (e.g., IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps).
  • Support communications. Messages you send to us (e.g., email, forms).

How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Service (accounts, posting, comments, moderation).
  • Personalize features and remember your preferences.
  • Communicate with you about updates, security, and support.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve performance and reliability.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

  • Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, email), bound by contractual safeguards.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the Service.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization, subject to this Policy.
  • Public content. Content you publish (e.g., articles, comments) is visible to others per your settings and the Service design.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain aggregated/anonymized data that does not identify you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
